Agility is a
sport, originally from Great Britain, that is patterned after equestrian events. The
sport of agility involves navigating a dog through a course set with many types of
obstacles. Agility emphasizes handler control, as well as the agility, confidence,
and training of the dog.
With such obstacles as
tunnels, see-saws, jumps, and "A-Frames," agility is a sport that is fun for
both the dog and handler. It is also a favorite with spectators because of its speed
and flair.
At First
Place Dog Training, we conduct three levels of classes for agility. Whether you and
your dog are in the beginner, intermediate, or advanced class, you are guaranteed to have
a good time.
